Tip #2-Write A Great Press Release!

Now that you have watched the video, let's recap a few of the pointers presented in it.

A press release is your introduction to the media world and is a must have!
Here are some tips for crafting a great press release:
1. The press release should be no more than 400-500 words
2. The first paragraph will introduce who you are, where you are from, the title you have won, and your platform.
3. Paragraph two can highlight activities you plan to accomplish during your reign, accomplishments that you've already made, and perhaps a quote from you.
4.The final paragraph let's the media and others from the community find you. Include a phone number, website, and email address.
