Tamika Hall featured on Pageant Cast!

Tamika Hall will continue on as Mrs. Maryland Essence 2010 and will compete for the national title of Mrs. Essence on August 28, 2010, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Described by SisterDivas Magazine as ‘Young, Powerful, and Determined!” and nominated as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women, Tamika Hall is a highly sought after speaker and performer. Tamika has spoken around the Country to thousands of children, youth, and concerned adults about bullying, dating violence, domestic violence, and discovering one’s personal best. A survivor of dating and domestic abuse, Hall will continue the work she has done with dating violence for the last ten years under her popular program, “Love Doesn’t Leave Bruises!”
The founder of The Love Doesn’t Leave Bruises Foundation (www.fightdatingviolence.ning.com), Tamika is proud to now be a partner with Liz Claiborne’s MADE Coalition (www.loveisnotabuse.com/made) where she is the Maryland State Action Leader.

In 2005, she authored the award winning book “He Loves Me Not, But I Love Myself!A young woman’s guide to conquering dating violence & finding safe love.” In November 2009,  the third printing was released under the title of “Love Doesn’t Leave Bruises” and was a bestseller on Amazon! The book is currently being translated into Creole and Spanish (www.lovedoesntleavebruises.info)
Hall is the founder of the The Love Doesn’t Leave Bruises Foundation, the CEO of Mikatoure, Inc which is the base company for  her speaking company, and t-shirt lines, Spanglish Kids (www.spanglishkids)), Praize in Motion (www.zazzle.com/praizeinmotion).
She is also the founder of Do-It-Yourself Pageant Marketing, a company that gives pageant queens the ability to easily design their own autograph cards, business cards, and gift items such as keychains and t-shirts (www.zazzle.com/pageantmarketing*)
The proud wife of Terrelle Hall, the two reside on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with their four children, and attend Greater New Hope Church & Ministries. Together they run El Shaddai Productions, a company dedicated to producing stage plays and marketing Arts Ministries.
